Understanding Milestone Statuses
How Milestone Statuses Are Determined
Milestone statuses in Meddo can be determined in two ways: manual override and automatic status.
Manual Override
If the manual toggle is ON, the milestone is automatically marked as Completed, regardless of:
The due date.
The number of tasks completed.
Color Code: Green – A completed milestone is always green.
Automatic Status
When the manual toggle is OFF, the milestone status is determined based on progress and due date:
Completed
When the completion percentage is 100%, the milestone is automatically marked as Completed.
Color Code: Green.
Not Started
If the due date is in the future and no tasks have been added, the milestone is marked as Not Started.
Color Code: Grey.
Missed
If the due date has passed and tasks are either incomplete or missing, the milestone is marked as Missed.
Color Code: Red.
In Progress
If the milestone does not meet the criteria for Completed, Not Started, or Missed, it is marked as In Progress.
Color Code: Blue.
Color Code Summary
Green: Completed – Milestone is complete (manual or automatic).
Grey: Not Started – Due date is in the future, and no tasks are added.
Red: Missed – Due date has passed, and tasks are incomplete or missing.
Blue: In Progress – Milestone is actively being worked on.
